The Spider Plant (Chlorophytum) is an easy to care for plant. They thrive on neglect and are relatively fuss free. Only water when the top 5cm of the soil becomes dry and avoid direct sunlight to avoid browning tips. They prefer moderate light levels and a humid atmosphere, so the occasional spray with filtered/rain water may be beneficial if placed in a dry climate. A kitchen or bathroom is an ideal spot for these fabulous plants.
It is said that these plants can help with condensation within the home, which has got to be a bonus.
